45 Must Have Self-Care Products for New Moms
Being a new mom is hard. You went through nine months of pregnancy and think you know what to expect. You think you have all the motherhood essentials that you need. Then the baby comes and everything you thought you knew goes out the window. A new mom goes through the physical and hormonal changes of pregnancy and giving birth. She is breastfeeding, or if she’s not breastfeeding, may be feeling some guilt about that. A new mom is sleep deprived, wondering if she will ever feel like herself again. Even though it may not seem like there is time for self-care in those early days, self-care products for new moms can be so helpful.
Importance of Self-Care
A new mom needs a break but probably feels guilty taking one. I know I did. Self-care is so important for any mom, but especially a new mom. You may be suffering from mom burnout, running on fumes, so any kind of break can help you reset and feel refreshed. The majority of the day revolves around your newborn so you deserve more than ever to choose something for you. Self-care is saying yes to yourself, doing whatever it is you want to be doing. Motherly has a great self-care checklist for new moms to try to follow. I have been there twice so I know how hard it is for a new mom to prioritize herself. However, we need to take care of ourselves so we can take care of our babies. A healthy baby needs a healthy mama.
